Hybrid battery temperature depends partly on a clear designed airflow path. Lint, pet hair and debris at the cabin intake can reduce airflow, but access and service scope vary. Refit every grille, clip and trim piece, remove tools and keep luggage clear of the intake. After the vehicle is restarted normally, check for hybrid-system warnings or unusual cooling-fan noise; recurring warnings require qualified diagnosis.
